Ok i see, installing in existing wall, well a jigsaw works fine. Put duct tape on the bottom plate so you don't mar the finish. I wouldn't buy a high priced tool unless i was in the business. Now for tile walls and sheetrock..I would use a roto zip.

Its conctrete on cavity brickwork....seemingly the square hole cutters do the job sooooo neatly in 3 mins....one day i may even find out,

plaster about 4mm concrete 14mm ish and brick must be about 60mm....drilled in 30mm for the box's....still to purchase and run in the 2.5 twin core and earth cable.

gettin cousin to do the connecting and fishing with me under the boards.....dark and scary!!

Given that, yes, you need the right tool. I was thinking if it wasn't too thick..a series of holes with a masonry bit...lol..forget that...

cant wait until it hits us in scotland



used to go climbing in the winter over here....nothing too rad...mostly gullies....great fun sliding back down.

dood...thats what we did....made cheese holes and used a wee plate on the hammer drill....did the job....the dust is still settling...lol
