lol Pam, the difference in dressing and suffing is southern dressing is made from cornbread, and stuffing is made with bread crumbs. I guess it's 6 of one half dozen of the other, I like cornbread dressing with giblet gravy.

Try this recipe if you like a chewy, thick cookie.......its the best:smile:
Best Cookie Cutouts ever
Ingredients

1/3 cup of shortening
1 egg
1/3 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of honey
1 tsp lemon flavoring
2 3/4 cup of flour
1 tsp of soda
1 tsp of salt

Directions
Mix all ingredients together. Dough should be formed into one lump. Wrap and refrigerate or freeze for 24 hours. Roll out dough approximately 1/2 inch thick. cut out and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375degrees for 7 to 8 minutes.

After cooling decorate as you choose

The trick to this recipe is to handle the dough as little as possible. Makes a thick chewey cookie that is very tasteful.

Enjoy
