his fever is up to 103!!!! help me out!!!! any ideas???? i gave him meds.....what else can i do? luke warm not cold bath.. dont wanna send him into shock do not cover him up it will raise his temp higher.. put a cool rag on his head to help bring down temp.. most dr. say not to rub them with alcohol.. some say to do it.. i'm never sure there anymore.. clear fluids.. gatorade , water.. fever will dehydrate him a little so keep them in him.. alternate fever reducers like tylenol and ibprofin if he can take both.. helps keep them working and keep him from becoming imune |
