no, you can be single without ever having being married
you cannot be divorced unless you have been married so in the sense of being 'available', they are indiscernible in the sense of how one's character/ability to commit might be perceived , it can cause quite a difference,,, |

an older single person may feel like a failure at commitment so might a divorced person an older single person may be confident in not 'settling' so might a divorced person |

I would say op ... divorced is different then being single ...
least I think so ... took me feels like forever to feel single after my divorce... but remember when I was single before my marriages ...I was in a different state of mind ... your young... so love will surely come faster again for you ... not to much baggage per say ... |

single as in unattached
meaning not married divorced is the legal termination of a marriage a single person may or may not have been involved with someone in a monogamous relationship in the past a divorced person definitely has been |
