through the windows of our eyes.
Did our souls just kiss?
Could that be why I am
feeling so overwhelmed?
Did our souls, constrained neither by time or space,
reach out and touch
each other, caress each other,
Embrace for a moment?
Such an electric feeling!
The eruption of emotion
unwarranted by foreknowledge
yet surely as strong
and sharp as a rapiers foil
carving your name into
the forefront of my mind.
We have just since met
and yet my desire for you
is akin to a small child’s
longing for sweets.
I yearn to press my lips to yours
knowing already your response.
Gleaned from the memory
