Try to occupy your mind with other things. It is natural to have this person in your thoughts after a break up. Allow yourself to mourn the relationship or you will not be able to move on. The saying "time heals all wounds" may not be entirely accurate but it does ease the pain.

I know it sounds stupid but reading a book that totally sucks you in will get your mind off of anything, even falling asleep is easier because your mind is on the story rather than everything thats going on. Movies work too, all short term of course but they help. Hope it gets better!
