Former Congressman Anthony Weiner had a months-long sexting relationship with a 15-year-old girl, according to a Daily Mail report.
Weiner is married to but now separated from Huma Abedin, one of Hillary Clinton's top and longest-serving aides. The teenage girl told the Daily Mail that the relationship began in January and that Weiner knew she was underage. Still, she claims, he asked her to dress up in "school-girl" outfits and take part in "rape fantasies," the Daily Mail reported. Weiner also sent photos of himself and asked her to do the same, according to the report. The girl shared text messages, photos and other communications with the person purported to be Weiner with the Daily Mail. Weiner did not deny exchanging "flirtatious" messages with the teen and gave a statement to the Daily Mail: "I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgement about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent. I am filled with regret and heartbroken for those I have hurt. "While I have provided the Daily Mail with information showing that I have likely been the subject of a hoax, I have no one to blame but me for putting myself in this position. I am sorry." Im liking how you think the more success, the higher up, a person gets, the more 'degrees' of connection can be found between them and unsavory people and behaviors excepting for when the person participated in or facilitated the unsavory choice of another, the guilt by association attacks are kind of pointless to me |
