like I Said
I respect PEOPLE I do not have an idea how to respect items, and things,, but I am conscience of not being disruptive(a type of disrespect) , or vulgar and so its fine , keep insisting how important it is to respect a flag while posting disrespectful things about people just remember respect has nothing to do with whether we agree, but how we disagree,, think about it |

If people have the right to sit down (especially a public platform)....news flash. ..people have a right to protest the protest
|
|
|

thats true
but people who claim to love America should refrain from the hypocrisy of decrying the great American 'right' to opt out of a pledge |

thats true but people who claim to love America should refrain from the hypocrisy of decrying the great American 'right' to opt out of a pledge ... I don't think that people should grandstand their right to protest while being paid to entertain the masses ...if an entertainer wants to go out on his time and dime to express his hatred towards the people they hate...fine... I don't understand why being disrespectful towards all that represents the country wether it's burning a flag or sitting through the anthem..ect..commands respect for the cause they support...it's not the whole country who is at fault...and this kind of behavior only influences others to be disrespectful...our governments are at fault for all the unrest...not our countries...but the haters gotta keep the hate going...so as it is written...God Bless America...land that I love..! |

here is the thing though kindle, unless he signed to entertain by pledging that has nothing to do with it
entertainers are citizens too, and if there is a public custom that happens to take place BEFORE They do their entertaining, I don't agree that their job has anything to do with feeling like they HAVE to participate to not be disruptive,, yes,, to HAVE to participate,, no as said many times, I could get on board the 'how dare he' movement if he chose that time to streak or give the middle finger or an actual disrespectful action,,, kneeling is how we pray, its nothing inherently disrespectful about that action,,, |

My dad died when I was 7 and a long history of military. My step dad is retired ft worth cop anf many cop friends still active. If someone thinks it's only a flag...that is their right. My right is to feel disrespected by those whining black oppression while earning millions of dollars from that oppression. I have never owned a slave. Even going through genealogy, none of my family has. But boo hoo to those that cling to history when their own country sold them (but don't speak about that)
Btw....England, France and Spain brought slaves here....go after them |

wow
IN the future, I should remember self proclaimed patriots here tend to have super thin skins in taking what they dish,,, what was funny was the topic changed for some reason to slavery everyone has their opinion, I care about others opinions which is why I try to DISCUSS those that I disagree with instead of attacking and/or calling names or telling them they should leave the country,,etc,,etc,,,etc,, those countries may have brought slaves here but I DONT LIVE IN THOSE COUNTRIES that argument that someone else did it first, is irrelevant kind of like telling an abused child that before their grandma abused them their abusive parents gave them to her so ignore the abusive grandma and focus instead on the parents who are long gone,,,,, I address those who address me,, its how a thread works |

That is why I support the flag and you think it's funny? Wow. You have your opinion and I don't give 2 craps about it just like you don't about the flag. That is your right but don't question or spin mine! This is why I don't address you. Please don't address me Those countries founded this one. They brought slaves here. Move on |

The whole reason for the protest is Kaepernick whining about oppression while earning millions a season himself. The flag has little to do with a few bad cops

I read that somewhere...and personally I don't care if they choose to sit through it.. It's the reasoning behind the action... This kid is standing out of pride and respect for a country that allows us far more freedoms than most...the millionaire is sitting because he is supporting a movement that is stirring hate towards law enforcement..he did it to illustrate disrespect to the country he obviously enjoys the freedom he is gifted with...it was his intention to be disrespectful...the kid standing stood to show respect ...all I am saying is it is tradition to praise this beautiful country through song and color...it may not be mandatory ..but when you're paid millions to entertain you should show respect to the country that gifted you with the opportunity to be that rich doing what you love... |

thats true but people who claim to love America should refrain from the hypocrisy of decrying the great American 'right' to opt out of a pledge So those that don't respect the flag have that right but (God forbid) those that disagree don't. Talk about hypocrisy. Btw...if you are speaking to me, please quote me |

The whole reason for the protest is Kaepernick whining about oppression while earning millions a season himself. The flag has little to do with a few bad cops its not up to me to decide what the flag 'has to do with' for someone else its an American flag, I imagine its reasonable for it to mean EVERYTHING and ANYTHING happening in Ameica |

If someone protests on a national platform..yes it is their right. But it is also a right for those that protest that. You don't have to care. I don't care about that. But I do and that is what I care about But who gives 2 craps about a flag right? I do! |

understood I just find it inconsistent, which is a thing I have ,, but that's my deal Please quote so we know who you are speaking to. I have a right to wipe my feet on his jersey just as he has a tight to sit down. Funny gow it goes both ways. Sponsors are wanting to pull out of the 49ers. They have that right but I know there will be whining |
