It's split, years ago someone replaced the original wood tuners and rigged up regular ones. I wanted the original ones put back on (which I still have) but they said it wouldn't work for whatever the reason now, I forget. If I can figure out how to post pics to the thread I'll show you. I think the right person can mend it. I have a 15 minute jam recorded with my friends with it before it broke, has a beautiful droning sound!

That can be fixed. They use a glue called tightbond. if the pieces fit back perfectly you use the tightbond and clamp it real hard. The glue is water soluable so you can wipe off the excess glue. Then they can put matching wooden dowels ito the holes and re drill them so that you could put back the original type wooden tuners. I don't know if I would use the exact original tuners they may be too worn down. That wouldn't be too expensive to do. I would do it since its like a family heirloom

If you go to the Help topic, it has instruction on how to post images. You can also practice loading them in that thread. That's how I learned. You have to type a couple of image commands in front and in back of the image location. You can't just cut and paste an image. Hope this helps.

You need to copy the image location and put it in between the following commands which you need to type. Example: and that should work. I had to practice it a few times before I got the hang of it. Thank you tmh! I will try that out again later. Was beginning to feel like I did when I first got online! Appreciate the tip |
