I believe in love. Don't know how it's different than "true" love. I think a lot of people load the concept/term with impossible and unrealistic expectations. I think a lot of those seem to define the "true" part. |

I believe in love and all the different ways it presents itself.. instead of true love, I should have said Falling in Love.. the best description regarding the gift of love In my opinion....
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. |

Do you believe in true love, or us it overrated??? Yes, I think true love exists.....hey don't roll your eyes just yet... I don't think that it's some fairy tale romance that carved out of some childrens book, no. I think that love forms between partners; man + woman, woman + woman, man + man. From my personal experience this is where my true love was found- When I had my children. That was true love. No matter what they do in life, I will always love them no matter what. |

I have generally found that the number one thing standing in the way of someone finding "true love," are their own fantasies about it.

I have generally found that the number one thing standing in the way of someone finding "true love," are their own fantasies about it. Well said. Hollywood sells us one idea of it, but I think it is much different in reality and really depends on each persons idea of what it means. If we are lucky, each of us will find it in our lifetime. |
