As a smoker if were to date a non smoker I would definately respect my dates wishes and not smoke around them..it's different in the UK because you're not allowed to smoke in restaurants or bars but if my date followed me outside when I was gassing myself then there's not really too much I can do

Really depends on your standards. If smoking bothers you a lot, then it's probably not a wise idea to get involved with someone who smokes.
I smoke but if I know people around me don't, then I will respect them and either not smoke or go off and smoke far away from them. |

I just quit cause I really really like a non smoker who really really hates everything about it. I'm on day 5!
You have to decide what you want coco! is it something you can handle being around? You know yourself better then anyone else!

i once dated a non smoker... said he didnt mind at all..... then later thats all i heard about.... so if its going to come to that dont date him in the first place.... most smokers are considerate of non smokers they will smoke outside etc.... use mouthwash and brush their teeth before kissing ya

....but i have enough respect for someone who im dating that doesnt smoke to at least go away from them to smoke... but i dont think you should judge someone just caus they smoke...JMO....

seriously you gotta think long term here.... sooner or later you would want him ot quit ... your going ot whine enough that he is going ot quit... but not really he just smokes away from home and hides the cigs in his car... you find the cigs in his car adn then accuse him of having an affair... becuase if he lied about smoking what else is he lying about.... ok so none of this would probably really happen
