But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

lets be careful of the partners we choose,,, 'not harming others' is not necessarily the only standard to uphold

I like these scripts. They are supposed to be a discription of people of the last generation. Pretty accurate.

Oh yea. We all must meticulously examine ourselves in the light of that scripture.

more proof, timothy 2 i thick ik talks about technology, dont put your faith in it, internet came to being in 20 years. in revelation it talks about gods messege reaching the whole world. now the have gps, social security number and the wi fi. you put all these togeather in a chip and you cant do banking, ( credit cards are becomming more comman than money.) gps so they track you. and so you cant have a job without the chip. so 10 years ago we would never have thought, but now all slowly comming togeather. just like you go to a store, no checkout person behind it.

...So, there is a great need to prepare for the 2nd coming of JESUS CHRIST.

This clearly points to the times we are living in, foreseen and forewarned years ago. Every turn of events whether political, social, technological, economical....all point to the end times as prophesied. We are actually living in dangerous times when the love of many has grown cold. Consequently, violence is everywhere. People hurt others physically and emotionally like it doesn't matter! Even the family is no longer a source of solace.
Let's those who call on the name of the Lord not rest. Be vigilant and allow the Holy Spirit to guide every step. Amen

well it was in 1948, and the seven day war didn't happen till 1967, when they got the whole land back.

Christian busy-ness affecting our lives.

The busy-ness of Christians is a narcotic. It leads to double mindedness. It's a mass of connections, a stimuli of activity, ever increasing calls upon our time. The more impossible it is to understand the danger we are in. The mirror of God's Word is there but we have to stand still long enough to see a reflection. The busy man (or woman) is moving so fast we have no time to reflect. We rush by now and see nothing. We may even carry the "mirror" in our luggage but we doesn't take it out to see and correct ourself.

Worst of all the busy man or woman is worse than a person with a life killing disease. The individual with the deadly disease see's the symptoms growing worse. But the busy individual has a condition that they become more and more comfortable with, the disease of busy-ness is easier to excuse. We become less prayerful, less conscious about the things of God and our convictions begin to wain and finally our actions prove that we have lost the heat of our convictions.

Remember, Jesus tells usthat whatever someone does with what is least , that is what he will do with what is great . we must be careful not to ignore red flags, just because we want to believe the best about someone. faithfulness, for example , is important in small things ,because later when we have it all in with someone , it will be everything . Faithfull , honest people are just that, they dont have to try .

They won't be anymore faithful honoring to you than they are to Him. Watch how they talk a out and treat Him.
