I just got news a few minutes ago that really upset me..I am still shaken, but I thought I would come to my friends on the forums. Let me explain. My mother is a diabetic and has been for years. Due to her diabetes, she has lost the feeling in her feet and had a bad infection set up in her foot not too long ago. Well, after two surgeries to get rid of the infection, it has come back with a vengence and they are going to have to amputate her leg below her knee tomorrow. She has already been hospitalized twice in the last two months, once for the foot infection, once for her heart (congestive heart failure just last week) and now for this. I would like to ask for your prayers. As rough a time as she has had lately, I don't know how she is going to take this...

becca, i dont know you but reading your responses on some of these forums, you seem like a very caring, smart, and a very grounded lady. you'll be strong for your mom cause she really needs your support and love now and always. my thoughts go out to you, mom and your whole family. your family here on JSH will always be here for you girl!!!!
