its a very interesting list of disconnected statistics
cops killing more (raw number) of whites is kind of irrelevant, percentages by race for selective crimes is irrelevant percentage of all homicides that are by cop vs non cop is irrelevant what Philadelphia cops statistics are are irrelevant but all interesting whats relevant is when confronting alleged criminals that are white and unarmed or confronting alleged criminals that are black,, how much more likely is the cop to result to lethal force in one alleged criinal confrontation than in another that compares only people being confronted by police across the nation,,, not people dying at the hands of others , or people committing other crimes, or people in philadelhia |

Dallas police chief David Brown commented on policing in this country during an interview yesterday with CNNs Jake Tapper....
""You know, one thing – other thing that I’ve learned about this is that the conversation about policing in this country – this is not sustainable to keep these officers encouraged. These officers risk their lives for $40,000 a year. $40,000 a year. And this is not sustainable – not to support these people. We’re not perfect. There’s cops that don’t need to be cops, and I’ve been the first to say we need to separate employment with those types of cops – 1% or 2%. But the 98%, 99% of cops come to work and do this job for $40,000 and risk their lives not knowing when they’d come home, get this criticism. That’s just not right and it’s not sustainable. And I’m just making a plea to this country to stand up as a silent majority and show your support for these people to keep them encouraged to protect you. And I’m saying this from the heart. I hope I’m not lecturing too much but this is really important from my perspective that we show these folks that we applaud their heroism and that we let them know without a question that we support you in your efforts to protect us."" http://www.whatthefolly.com/2016/07/11/transcript-dallas-police-chief-david-browns-interview-with-cnn-reporter-jake-tapper-on-the-police-killings-part-5/ I prefer to listen to him....a man ACTUALLY on the job.....as opposed to Obama. The full interview is on YouTube. Chief Brown is an eloquent and informed man speaking from both sides of the policing fence. |

And just as I posted the above post about Chief Brown, he's giving a news conference and was just asked if he were not a police officer, would he had been one of the protesters.
He answered that he has always been a server. He finds a way to serve....and then said "We're hiring. Get out of the protest line and put in an application. We will put you in your neighborhoods and help you solve these problems you're protesting about." Gotta love this guy.... |

BLM And The Media Are LYING: The TRUTH About The Anton Sterling Shooting. July 6, 2016 AJ Review General News 0 The NAACP as well as Black Live Matter are in full force, and out to lay waste to any attempt at a sane, controlled investigation of the recent police shooting of Alton Sterling. Here are some FACTS that you need to know. Not because it will change the facts of the shooting, but because the left, the media, and all the activist groups are refusing to tell the truth. He fathered 5 children with different women. Quinyetta McMillon, the mother of Sterling’s oldest kid, who is 15, has said she is hurt, now that her son has to grow up without his Father: “As a mother, I have now been forced to raise a son who is going to remember what happened to his father, that I can’t take away from him,” McMillion told reporters this morning. “He is at an age of understanding. I hurt more for him and his loss as a parent. One of the greatest fears is to see your child hurt and know there’s nothing you can do about it.” No, no there isn’t. These things are best solved by following the commands of police, typically. Back in 2000, he was convicted of having sexual intercourse with a minor. Sterling was a registered sex-offender who had “carnal knowledge of a juvenile” on September 20, 2000 in his home state of Louisiana. The details of the crime are still being looked into, but it thus far paints a picture of the the character of the man. In 2015, Sterling failed to register as a sex-offender, so a warrant was issued for that, and other crimes. Since 1996, Sterling had been accused of numerous crimes and was building quite a rap sheet. Among the list was aggravated battery, simple criminal damage to property and unauthorized entry, and domestic abuse battery. Sterling pleaded guilty to illegally carrying a firearm and possession of marijuana back in 2009 Sterling was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years after being found carrying marijuana with the intent to sell, as well as illegally carrying a weapon. The gun found on his body at the time of death had been carried illegally. Though Louisiana is an open-carry state, Sterling was on probation at the time of the shooting, meaning he was unlawfully carrying the gun. The police were called because there was reports that he was threatening and brandishing a gun. That alone is reason to have weapons drawn on you. The media have been going non-stop, talking about the mans family yet refusing to inform about the mans recent past and activities. Black Lives Matter, a racist hate group, jumps right up there and demands blood…the evidence, facts, and investigation be damned. Alton Sterling’s attorney said that he was a respected member of the black community…Really? A sex-offender with multiple other criminal offenses is a ‘respected’ member? The bar isn’t very high, and it shows… No. Of course not. Sterling could have committed any crime, and I mean any, and the wagons would still circle around him, guns pointed out. It’s never about the truth, it’s about sides, it’s about race, it’s about getting revenge. The truth be damned. |

yes,, the partial truth should be damned
'carnal knowledge of a minor' 'sex offender' makes him much more deserving of death apparently although in 2000 he would have been 21 years old,, and 'knowledge of a minor' could be someone as old as 17,,,lol but 'no details',, right? I dont know what happened there, noone does, ,but all the ways people try to justify the killing of people because of past offenses is ridiculous to me |

yes,, the partial truth should be damned I'm sorry you dont get that a multiple time felon was carrying a gun illegally, and resisted arrest even after being tased. Is it an automatic death penalty? No but his dying IS a consequence of his actions that night.
And if its proven.....by the DOJ, nonetheless, since they were called early on in this investigation and the local DA has recused himself....that he was reaching for a weapon, he death is ALL on him. And whether that happened will or will not come out in the investigation. But the BLM 'tards still just want to bltch and moan anyway....regardless of the actual facts. Don't bltch at whitey, don't bltch at the 'rigged system', its in the hands of you're frickin big eared savior now....bltch at him if you dont get the blood you want. |

Sterling, was a registered sex offender, according to a database maintained by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office. Sterling is listed as 5 foot 11 inches tall, 310 pounds, with tattoos on his left arm, right arm, and left hand. His status is now listed as “inactive-deceased.” Sterling’s offense is described as committing “carnal knowledge of a juvenile.” He was convicted on September 20, 2000 in Louisiana and released on October 3, 2004. Court records show the victim was a 14-year-old girl at the time of the offenses. According to the charging document on file in the courthouse, the victim’s mother had discovered that she was pregnant after taking her to the doctor. The document says that Sterling, then 20, had been dating the victim for about seven months and having sexual intercourse with her in her bedroom. The charging document says he admitted to the mother having sex with her daughter and exhibited an “I don’t care” attitude. Heavy.com is withholding the name of the victim and mother and all victims in the Sterling court file. According to the sentencing document in the court file, the judge gave Sterling 5 years of hard labor in the Louisiana prison system, but then gave him credit for time he already had served and suspended the balance of the sentence, putting him on probation. He was ordered to pursue a GED or trade and to perform community service, among other conditions of probation, the sentencing document says. The case was then re-sentenced, and Sterling, who had pleaded guilty, was sentenced instead to 2.5 years of hard labor in the Louisiana prison system. The court file said he was accused of not registering as a sex offender or notifying authorities of his change of address, requirements of the law. |

Gotta love this guy.... “We’re asking cops to do too much in this country” said Brown. “Every societal failure, we put it off on the cops to solve” said Brown. He listed mental health, drug addiction, loose dogs, failing schools as problems the public expects ‘cops to solve.’ “Seventy percent of the African American community is being raised by single women, let’s give it to the cops to solve that as well” said Brown. “Policing was never meant to solve all those problems.” When asked what advice he would give black men, Chief Brown said, “Become a part of the solution, serve your community. Don’t be a part of the problem…we’re hiring. Get off that protest line and put an application in. We’ll put you in your neighborhood – we will help you resolve some of the problems you are protesting about.” http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2016/07/11/dallas-police-chief-were-asking-cops-to-do-too-much-in-this-country/ |

no, I stated what I didnt get
no mention in my post about his gun my statement was about the irrelevance about a past charge about a minor,,, but that charge does alot to pad how much others will perceive he 'deserved' death |

I watched the service for the officers killed in Texas today. I was actually impressed with Obamas speech, that is until he hit then 10 minute mark and started in on his race baiting and anti guns and anti cop BS. The idiot needs to really learn when your at a memorial service for cops killed by militant black attackers who are a part of the black lives matters movement, keep politics out of it. Another sign this guy has no class.

they don't even go cheack the backgroup of the man whom will be hire......both will traning them as those soldiers will do so....... No one or at least I am not suggesting that there is no police brutality and I think we need to look at this on that level. But it is not about racism. Out of 506 people killed by cops so far this year only 123 were black, the majority of the rest were white. and out of the unarmed blacks killed compared to the unarmed whites? why can people believe the president could be responsible for division and violence but the HISTORY of racism in this country couldn't just amazing it is not about the racism but the original motion of human scence the "fear" it self.......can you believe a good traning cop will shooting a civilian with no any weapon and moves? then if you do understand this point you will get it...... |
