Topic: Would you date....... | |

Lets just say that I lost someone very close to me from an illness and to say I stayed with her for "pity" as drew the psychologist says, is pathetic. People like him spew BS out of their fat faces without thinking at all. Sorry I'm just sick of dumb asses on this site. Back to my time out room.

Ok gypsy. Right back at you. In 2003 I had cancer removed from my groin. Will you date me? I still have a fully functioning organ and will show it to you if you'd like.

Hi Bl8ant ,
I look at personality first and foremost. A person's health problems don't make them any less of a person. It doesn't matter how "perfect" a person is on the outside, if they're a mean or bitter person inside, that negates the "physical perfection". Conversly, a nice person with a wonderful personality is a beautiful woman, no matter how she looks physically. |

Well, the question really is, "at what point do you tell the person you've had a mastectomy?" I would think that if someone asked you out they would have been around you enough to like you based on your personality and other factors. Then after a few dates it's a natural progression to become more physical and it's inevitable that you have to bring it up. SO, do you just be totally open at the point when he asks about you out, or do you see him a few times and then gauge whether your date is the type who may or may not be able to handle the truth? I can't imagine how tough that would be. I wouldn't fully believe any man who says it doesn't matter. My two cents. |

Scary subject -- but as a woman who's had to face the possibility of losing a breast I have to say it's the scariest thing a woman faces. When I was told I had a mass in my breast my entire world almost fell apart. Then I realized something -- a breast doesn't make a WOMAN -- her heart and soul does. So, I asked God to please help me accept the possibility of maybe losing a breast. When that morning came in the operating room and I waited for the frozen biopsy I was truthfully at peace. When the doctor said -- "Jayne, your clean" -- I cried and thanked God for passing me over. Today -- I take part for "Walk of Life" in my community. I AM A WOMAN -- and my breasts have nothing to do with that.

============================================================= Bl8ant , I don't know if you meant that for me or not, but the post I made earlier was not in response to anything you said. I just said hi to you. My response was in response to the original OPs question-not to yours. Sorry for the confusion there. |
