Lower back excercise (easy ones). If you are knowing when you are gonna get those pesky cramps then take your midol three days before you are to have them. It prepares you and helps. Warm bath, relax, relax. If you are breast feeding, is it maybe contractions?
I have also found that a good relaxing type of hot tea soothes.

Masturbate.blushing I know this tends to be my answer for a lot of things but it is true that the contraction of the abdominal and pelvic muscles during orgasm decreases the pain of cramps.
