“Makes Me Wonder”



It really amazes me.
The longer I’m here and what I see.
Some put on there profiles and proclaim.
They are not here to play a game.
Some say they are for real.
They are just here looking for the one that is ideal.
Some you will hear down cyber sex.
And swear they don’t even write those words in text.
While you hear others say they have nothing to hide.
Some will say nothing bothers them they take things in stride.
But if you sit back and just read.
What some maybe by mistake writes on a thread.
Then you will be able to see.
And soon will agree.
That some try to make them self look whole some.
But in the threads some end up looking like scum.
I have heard those that on the threads cyber sex they condemn.
Next I know they have contacted someone to do it with them.
Maybe they say they are tired of others only talking about sex.
But then they talk to others and that was the only subjects.
I start to wonder am I the only one.
That has not had a threesome or with the same sex for fun.
I always thought I had and open mind.
But at times seems my way of thinking is way behind.
It has gotten to seem that anything now is a go.
That it does not matter who you do or what you show.
The way I see it’s between two adults if they want to cyber sex.
So what if they write about sex in the text.
But don’t put others down.
When you do it yourself then look at them and frown.
I know we can not expect.
That anyone is perfect.
But does make me wonder have values gone out the door.
And are they not important any more?
Even though I speak my mind and say what I want too.
Sems in the way to sexually pleasure I have a different view.
See I still believe that should be between a woman and a man.
Others can do whatever I don’t condemn them for there plan.
But it seems that my way of thinking.
I guess are the old ways and are shrinking.
But too me if that is how you see how things should be done.
And only want some fun.
Then do me a favor and don’t look my way.
Cause there will never be more than two in my bed any day.
Call me old fashion if you will.
To me that is the only way I will get my thrill.

That was a really good poem. And so true.

TxGal you're not the only one. That is all very true. You really have to wonder how many people say one thing and mean another, or write to you just to tease you and then stop writing completely when you show an intereste in them, or just delete your mail without ever reading it (Yep, I been there).
I think it is all about chemistry and the sex that no one wants. If someone doesn't like your picture, it's "see ya"

Are we all hung up on superficialities? Suppose 2 people got married, and then one of them had a bad accident, causing them to no longer be able to walk or to look good. Would they end up getting a divorce over it? I think so. Sad, but true. It's all about how you look, NOT who you are on the inside.

shutterbug I hear you I do try to always answer back any e-mails regardless if I'm interested or not. For to me a friendship has nothing to do with the looks. But will admit that as far as a relationship yes there must be something they have that has gotten my attention. And then within the conversation they must be able to hold it as well. But what I seem to notice alot is what one says but then reveals a whole differnt person then they let on to be. What is amazing I don't think some realize that they have.
