I have like 12 mutual matches and not one has mailed me yet. What is up wit that? even the ones i have mailed has not replied. Weird but oh well.

Actually... that's happened to me as well. Ive sent mail (saw that they have read it) and still nothing. Actually I found out that after I have mailed a few of my matches, they then have blocked me w/o even talking to me... now how wierd is that?

I have never had anyone contact me from mutual matches. I am confused about how it works anyway.
But...I am wondering about the "someone would like to meet you" one.

Lets be honest here. Physical attractive qualities jump out initially and maybe the person decides on that basis to chat or not to..... Maybe it's the topic you brought up???

I've had some hits and misses and it's okay. Just hang in there and enjoy the technology that brings us the ability to chit chat up on the net. See I wrote you back.

My 2 cents is, if you really want to get some hits, then put up a good profile and your very best pictures. Show your best side.... Not to be false but really there are pictures we take that are great and some that are just okay!!!

So why did they say yes to your profile? that is down right insane... no wonder not many are having any luck.

Actually they say Yes or Maybe... So it's better than a No.

The maybe is that they will think about it further as they read your profile. Apparently they liked your initial picture so good.

hold up i was only making conversation... i do alright for myself with men so not a big deal. I will be fine if I don't meet a guy online because either way I won't be single for long.

If they don't reply back to the next. there are different people all the time.

I'm finding this site of two minds: there are people who think it's not for dating, but friend-making, and others who expect to be able to meet someone through it. The lack of focus is the fault of the programmers and those who run it -- I don't think they know if they want to make their fortunes with dating or a future facebook. And it's annoying, to say the least.

The site owners don't seem to want to drive the site in any particular direction, and I'm not enjoying the way the users run it, so it may be that I'm just not the type for this board (I'm pretty much ready to delete my account anyway). It's a bit high-school most of the times.

Trust me - you can do better.
