You love Hogan's Heroes? AND Andy Griffith???
Toxic ![]() ![]() ![]() Seriously, I think it's great that young people are being turned onto the classic TV shows that old geezers like me actually grew up on! Conversly, I also love a sitcom called "Yes, Dear", that was on Prime time just a few years ago. |

I read somewhere that in the storyline of the Andy Griffith Show that Andy allowed barney to carry only one bullett for hi revolver and that was to be kept in his shirt pocket. I also liked a spinoff of the Andy griffith show maybe you've seen in Gomer Pyle USMC

You read right, Fort. Barney was only allowed to carry one bullet--and it had to stay in his shirt pocker. In several of the earlier episodes, Barney would sneak the bullet into his gun. Of course, the gun would go off at the worst possible moment. Andy would then immediately hold his hand out and look at Barney as if to say, "Hand the gun over, Barn.".
I liked Gomer, too. Like Andy, the black and white episodes were much better than the color ones. On Andy, the color ones started when Barney left. On Gomer, the B&W episodes took place on the base mainly. The colors dealt more and more with things away from the base. |
