- guy gets rejected. feels emotional pain. get's revenge by lashing out and inflicting emotional pain in return.
- Girl receives emotional pain. Girl either gives it back to guy and finds it not fulfilling enough to overcome her pain as well as offer a positive reward, or guy ignores her so she can't reciprocate.
- girl in pain then goes to online internet forum in order to vent because she can't have her revenge, veiled as seeking out replies to a rhetorical question.
- stand in for unavailable guy posts response and receives the punishment meant for another.
- emotional normalcy and social hierarchy is achieved.

Or IOW go to any zoo and watch monkeys.
One will hit another, and then that one will run off and hit another one, who will run off and hit another one, down the social ladder until the person at the bottom just sits and takes it.

That's why
