I know this technically has nothing to do with this website; but I've got to tell as many people as possible. I'm so proud right now, I'm crying, and I almost never cry.These are like alligator tears of joy and hopefully. I don't short out my computer. Any who, let me explain. My best guy friend is the stepson of an asshole. He always treated him and his mother like crap and never missed an opportunity to make my friend feel like crap. He beat him and eventually drove him to drugs and a terrible way of living. All his life, he wanted to be a marine and he lost sight of that dream. Not only has he rebuilt himself and his family, but he is now officially a U.S Marine! Say what you will about bush and this war but marines are hard core, and my best friend is an completely new person. If you only knew the half of what this boy went through, Its just so damn wonderful!!! I won't be able to see him until November but I think I'm just going to hug and not let go!

Thats really cool that he was able to follow his dreams. I was denied the opportuinity to go to the army, but maybe it just wasn't meant to be. I wish him good luck and its cool that he has a friend that supports him like you do, thats awsome.
