Good Morning my friends of M2, well as you know my last 2 forums was a big hit & you guys voiced how you felt about the topic and your take on the issue I brought to you. Like I told during the beginning of 2k16 I was bringing the heat of controversy to keep you buzzing with your opinions. So, lets get started, okay, I wanted to bring a topic that's been brushed under the rug for years by our government, politicians, & corporations of power. When you think of the term " Black Gold", what do you think? Hmmm....not sure, well the " Baby Boomer" Generation would tell you " Black Gold" is the Oil Industry". But when you here the word " Blue Gold" its a term meaning the " Water Industry". Come on, 2fly, water ? something that's meant to be free like the air we breath? Yes its corporate elites new investment. Explain ?, okay corporate investors taking our lakes & rivers that uses most major cities drinking water and they pump it out, bottle it up, send the clean water to china & other countries while us good old Americans gets dirty toilet water, thirst to death, or pay for your drops of water literately. Its a for of controlling the minds & lives of us here in the Americas. The Plan is to kill us off to depopulate the world in various ways but thirst to death is another way as well. Beware of the water you drink in bottle forms. I found out they putting anti psych meds in bottle water now. they say is to lower the suicide rate but its all control my friend! what are your take on this thirsty problem? Will you pay for your next cup of " Blue Gold"? or will you remain to be a victim of corporate greed & water dictatorship? Think about this, The next time you leave your lawn sprinklers on for more than 20 minutes, or you washing your Family's SUV & you leave the hose on , or you buy your case of Aquafina bottle water at the supermarket. just keep in mind somewhere in the world that drop is going to make somebody wealthy or the squeeze will bleed you dry...lol

This is quite an interesting topic coz nations are fighting over oil & natural resources, but what really should be considered is water & not abundant supply for consumption coz in the future water will get more scarce & imminently very highly priced only available to a limited number

the water level on earth doesn't change, the population and mans changing the environment does... the liberals lie and say water shortage to promote the "climate change" agenda to increase their profits...

I found out they putting anti psych meds in bottle water now. they say is to lower the suicide rate but its all control my friend!

A few people "suggested" one type of meds be put in the public water supply like fluoride.
It was ruled a bad idea and didn't happen.
Otherwise, there are anti psych meds in pretty much all water because people keep throwing or flushing away their old prescriptions but it's not really "putting" it there, unless you also want to say they are "putting" fecal matter in the water.

what are your take on this thirsty problem?

Water really isn't hard to come by.
It's just popular in movies and for conspiracy theorists to make it seem like it is.
You can't really compare it to oil.
Oil takes a long time and special conditions to make.
Water is ultimately two H's and an O.
The world is covered in all sorts of water, glaciers, aquifers, and springs the only problem is redistribution as earth's water cycle doesn't always put it back where it was after the people that settle somewhere use it up.

It's a non crisis fear mongers use.

Will you pay for your next cup of " Blue Gold"?

Who doesn't pay for their water?
If you have a well, or are hooked up to the city system, it's part of your rent, mortgage, taxes, and/or whatever you pay/paid for the property.
At most the only people who don't pay for water are the homeless.
But if they use the spigots outside of a building? Then the building owner or its customers pay for it.

Will I pay extra for my next cup of "blue gold" to avoid the taste of chlorinated filth with white floaters?
Absolutely.

or will you remain to be a victim of corporate greed & water dictatorship?

Feel free to live in a national park next to a creek, lake, or river and haul your own water.

I prefer not to live that way, so I get a job doing what I like to do, get money from that, and then use it to buy water, so I don't have to. I'm not a victim. There's no victimhood here.
If you want free water, go out and get it. It's all over the place.
If you want a guarantee that it's clean and piped to your home for your convenience, then you pay.

The next time you leave your lawn sprinklers on for more than 20 minutes

My lawn is xeriscaped.

just keep in mind somewhere in the world that drop is going to make somebody wealthy

I also paid for my food!
And my clothes...and my doctor's visit...and my home...hey! Wait a minute! Is there some sort of conspiracy of people making my life easier so I don't have to become a farmer, weaver, house builder, doctor, or plumbing specialist?!
Something must be done about this! Now!
All that stuff people do to get it to me should be done solely for smiles and tickles.
Next you'll tell me if I leave my lights on at night my electric bill will go up, because they're greedy.
That better not happen! Energy should be free, it's not like it costs anything to produce and maintain facilities to get it to my house for my convenience.
And those dictators have me over a barrel since they say I can't use the sun at night, s.o.b. dictators victimizing me.

EPA testing has shown that the trace amounts of pharmaceuticals in drinking water is equal to an aspirin in 100 Olympic size pools, or one part per TRILLION. It's believe to be from people using their toilets to dispose their meds, which go to treatment plants and then returned lakes, rivers and streams.
The alarmists and conspiracy theorists think there is always nefarious activities being done to hurt them. whoa

they've known the great lakes are drying up for some time now... it's just a natural process because they were formed during the last ice age, and the water was a result from the ice melting... there isn't anymore ice to replenish them anymore...

NATURAL PROCESS, no CT there...

Great Lakes levels have risen year over year.

Lakes Superior, Michigan-Huron, and St. Clair are 2 to 3 inches above what they were at this time last month, while Lakes Erie and Ontario are 4 and 1 inches, respectively, higher than they were one month ago. All lakes are above their average levels of a year ago. Currently, all of the lakes are in their period of seasonal rise. Lake Superior and Michigan-Huron are both projected to rise 3 inches over the next 30 days, while Lakes St. Clair, Erie, and Ontario are forecasted to rise 1 to 2 inches.

see what the water levels were 20 years ago... Lake Ray Hubbard, in Dallas, for a long time was about 30 feet below normal... when they reported that it has risen a foot, they didn't bother to say it was still 29 feet below...

The amount of total water in the world doesn't change much but the amount of fresh water changes dramatically. When the Ice Age was in place billions of tons of fresh water was stored as ice. Since then the glaciers have melted and the annual snow melt water supply to streams has diminished. Much of Europe and other parts of the world depend upon the melt water from glaciers to provide drinking water and irrigation during the summer. That water supply is vanishing which is one reason Europe is in panic about global warming.

An excellent example of this situation is Glacial National Park in the US which I hope to see before the glaciers are completely gone.

OK I went to see what the levels have been....
http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/pubs/brochures/lakelevels/lakelevels.pdf

The levels in the Great Lakes have changed with spiked both up and down but have stayed in a fairly narrow range considering the depths and the time period.
The chart going back to 1860 which gives a better indication of what has been happening than only looking at a 20 year period.

on the other hand, when you have millions of people in one city, they are using millions of gallons of water daily... hard to replenish that, with or without glaciers...

Ok, first let me Welcome you to Mingle. You have good passion and you speak of an issue that needs to be spoken about in the east coast of the states.

Now what you are talking about is crazy. I work in the water industry. We do not add medicines , minerals or even floride. I realize the Flint,Michigan water fiasco has made many people look at their water and wounder if it is safe. Granted. That was a failure of letting the bean counters run operations. We're I'm from, they stay out of our business. We make sure the water is clean, and properly treated for all human consumption. Now shipping water to China, no way. Our water stays in the USA. There are companies that sell bottled water and that gets shipped overseas. Municipal water is for the comunity. I hope this helps your post.

Well I'm talking about the water standard that is maintained in the majority of the States. If some weird states want to break the law, they have to answer to their customers. I say if you suspect your water, file a complaint. There are water inspectors who are like internal affairs for cops. And we bust any part of our operation where someone misses a step, or fouls water. Yea I'm really pissed at these people because the community trusts them with their life. I say put them all in jail.
