I see those eyes of yours,
roaming over those Girls
blonde, blue-eyed
hipless stick figures,
held up as icons of
all that should be Pretty.
And I smile within
as you turn to me
because I look at you
and know you see

My hair, long, fiery,
enticingly wrapped
around you,
as I burn you with

My arms, rounded, white
holding you close,
pulling you into me,
making us one.

Year upon year I climbed,
Climbed up, up and up… up and into the empty high,
I wanted to see the world … and how shined,

Along the thorn and twisty road,
Ahead of the legion of fate I strode,
I dined with the Devil…
…and danced with my foe

Upon reaching the summit, (and the screaming winds took my soul from my frame)
The world writhed beneath me…

The secret voice chanted my name… the snakes of charm poising fame…
Of the world with much promise, a world of hell became…

Suddenly the winds departed and my soul returned,
…I whispered a joke in return,

As the sun lay in its hammock… and the world became art… though not tame,
I dared look down on the world once more,
…and I dared come back for more…
… For once I realized how beautiful thou art… and how beautiful I was once more

For once in many a time,
I saw people…
Insane and in rhyme,

For once and on time,
The picture I saw…
…had the same colors as was mine…
…and spoke the language of my true mind...

No matter how young or how old…
…The secrets of a heart are seldom foretold
Somewhere between the depths of despair and heights so bold…
…Therein lie’s a thought to behold.

No matter how young or how old,
It was a mind I saw unfold,

No matter how near or how far,
The glint in my eye…
…Suggests I can see a star …and the beauty it doth behold...
