I received a message from someone the other day, and by the time I read it, this site said the person's "account has been deactivated" whenever I tried to view the profile or reply to the message. However the user's picture still displays in the message. Does this site randomly deactivate accounts or have a bug where it pretends they're inactive?

People sometimes deactivate and then reactivate later. As far as I know, there is no bug here that would cause a false deactivation message, and I know the admins do not randomly deactivate accounts. The most likely scenario is that the user deactivated for reasons of their own. They may be back.

I thought of that, but it seems unlikely both because of the timing and because the profile picture is still viewable. It seemed more likely to me to be a system error, so I was interested in whether anyone else's profile spontaneously deactivated.

The person simply deactivated their account...and it does happen....nothing the site itself has done...and yes, the pic remains on the emails and posts, you just can't "mingle" with them until they reactivate the account

I m sorry to bring thip up now but i think there is a bug.
I m receiving messages from a account, i cant writte back because its deactivated so the app tells me.Now i thought it maybe my account ao i logged into a new one and then i could not enter tge profil beeing "deactivated" but still i m getting pm d |

Person are shown online but when I want to see the profile it says the account is been deactivated How is it possible that a person is online and been deactivated at same time Hope someone has the answer |

they either got booted or quit themselves... not a big deal, just go on to the next... not much you can do either way...
