Do some profile names ever turn you off to the point of not responding to emailers with such names? eg if the name is very sexual in nature?

The ones sexual in nature make me laugh...I remember a guy from another site forum
..ColonelLingus....totally a ripoff from the Saturday Night Live skit, Colonel Angus...but it made giggle lol I do stay away from scammer usernames... which are made in a certain way...I'll refrain from stating that way so as not to maybe educate them |

if the first thing you want me to know is that YOU think you look good or what you have,,,,its not the best first impression |

I usually don't respond to the sexual,racist, or sone one spouting their finances unless the 2 latter's ones are comical then sure. |

Hell I won't read a post or an entire thread if I don't like or trust the name. Not giving any examples, I don't want to teach pervs, scammers, trolls & alters how to be better at what they do.

Mr. Archer It wasn't on this site{not sure what the rules on that one is} and I wasn't impressed then and not now.. Money is one the last things that Impress me.. Let's just say the poor little bugger was young and dumb... wanted to impress the young ladies I guess. It was years ago.. He didn't last long.

IMO those who chose to represent themselves with a profile name with sexual connotations are just here to troll. A big turnoff. Responding does not even cross my mind. Delete Delete Delete

Yes...worst if double with lewd photos.
I had received friendship requests from young men ( my kids' age). And the profile names are in Chinese / Malay language which are really obscene. It really irritate and anger me. I will usually wrote to them telling them what I think of their profile names. Then I will block them. Maybe it is the mother's instinct in me. I see the kids in them. |
