Father Chops Off Hands of Teen Who Allegedly Raped His Baby Daughter
Dad chops off the hands of a 17-year-old accused of raping his baby daughter in India A father in India reportedly took justice into his own hands after a teenager allegedly raped his baby daughter. The 17-year-old was accused of molesting the seven-month-old baby in 2014 after the child's mother allegedly caught the teen in the act. Just after the teen's court hearing on April 19, the girl’s father, Parminder Singh, 25, claimed he was going to forgive him and accept an out of court settlement. He offered to drive the boy home to the village where they both live, Kotli Ablu, on his motorbike. Along the way, however, Singh stopped the bike and attacked the teen. He beat him badly, tied him to a tree and chopped off his hands with a machete. Singh then fled the scene, leaving the teen abandoned near a canal in agony. "Locals alerted police and we rushed to the spot. We picked him up, his hands, and took him to the hospital," Swapan Sharma, a senior police officer, told AFP by telephone. "There is nothing below the wrists now." Sharma said they are currently looking for Singh, who has apparently gone on the run. They will charge him with attempted murder. What do you think about the father's vigilante justice? Humm ~~~ All I can say the grand dad should have finished the job~~~ I am not shocked. I would NOT refer to this as ' vigilante justice ', that is the UK writers opinion. And over the years, I have seen it miss used many times. It also says ' alleged' And flips opinion as to if the perp is a teenager or a man. If the father said, he would except an out of court settlement, then he was already found guilty. India used to be the rape capital of the world. * Now Germany, Sweden & Norway are... Migrants * Rarely, any sentence is carried out, in India. Or prison time. And more & more citizens are acting on their own & as a group. Protests & petitions & lawyers, got NO where with the system. |

I don't know but something just doesn't sound right about this story.
The mother allegedly finds this teen raping a 7 month old baby. Maybe she had an ax to grind with this teen because the baby would be dead or at least in very serious condition if raped by an adult male or teen. If true, I guess he got off easy. |

Rape is ANY penetration with any object. * Legal definition * No matter how the media, or anyone tries to minimize it. |

Surely India's criminal justice system is not so backwards as to allow a relative of the victim to accept a settlement in a case like this, as complete replacement for criminal charges. |

Surely India's criminal justice system is not so backwards as to allow a relative of the victim to accept a settlement in a case like this, as complete replacement for criminal charges. Yep Police charges are rarely filed by police. Many cases where the Perp (s) is only in custody is for his/ their own safety from the public. * Gang rapes are common even among relatives & so is raping infants & rapes in public * More & more often the perps are followed, chased and killed by a an angry mob (including old women), or publicly executed, in some way. Set on fire etc. Then the police make the crowd disperse. In some cases of infidelity, elders are ordering the guilty man's daughters to be raped. Police do not interfere or intervene in this sick tradition. And the female relatives then never leave there house. Horrific cases daily. |
