Topic: Why Are So Many Westerners Joining ISIS? | |

Although precise figures are hard to verify, the number of Westerners now fighting alongside militants in Iraq and Syria has by all accounts surged. A June report by the New York-based intelligence organization The Soufan Group describes a region transformed into an “incubator for a new generation of terrorists,” with more than 12,000 foreign fighters from at least 81 countries stationed in Syria alone. Of that number, approximately 2,500 are from Western nations, including the United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany and Great Britain. I'm asking; Why Are So Many Westerners Joining ISIS? |

its like asking why so many support Trump probably the same list of answers,,, JASON M. BRESLOW wrote; {The emergence of thousands of Western fighters inside of ISIS — fighters who hold foreign passports and require no visas to enter the United States — reflects an array of factors. Some security experts call it the result of an increasing generational divide between Al Qaeda and ISIS, while others attribute the expanding lure to the group’s stunning battlefield success, a savvy online recruitment strategy and the promise of life inside an Islamic caliphate.} Is this the whole answer?! |

he also says he would make mexico pay for a wall we decide to pick up
and he says he could shoot someone and get away with it and he says he would just tell our creditors we don't have the money so we aren't paying,,, ,,, but,, you know,, perhaps some think isis is at least 'not the same thing they had' or they are just 'making a statement' of how fed up with the current state of affairs |

hopefully, I will evolve out of here long before that “Ideologically, ISIS are the same as Al Qaeda,” said Richard Barrett, a senior vice president at The Soufan Group. The difference for ISIS, he said, is that it’s leaders believe they must first “cleanse the area where the Muslim majority states are, and then having done that you can go out and beat up the rest of the world.” |

Cleric urges people to travel to Syria for a better life IS preachings have taken place at five Jakarta mosques Cleric said; When you get there soon, God willing, you won't have to pay rent, you don't have electricity and water bills," "You will get monthly food expenses, a monthly allowance, free health care and medicines." |

or they are just 'making a statement' of how fed up with the current state of affairs When Andre Poulin, a Canadian who converted to Islam, first appeared on YouTube in Syria last year, he said his family didn’t understand why he had moved to the country to fight with other jihadists against President Bashar al-Assad’s forces. Allah, he said during his video message, had pulled him to Syria. Poulin was just one of several Westerners to join the Islamic State, which at the time was just a small group of extremists vying for power. Now the Islamic State (ISIS) has obtained millions of dollars in new weaponry and is gaining more followers like Poulin, pledging allegiance to a group so barbaric that even al-Qaida has denounced it. “We tend to think they are crazy,” John Horgan, a psychologist and professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Center for Terrorism and Security Studies, said. “Because of what terrorists do, we assume that can be explained via the pathology of those people, but trying to explain terrorism as mental illness is misleading.” |

In 1 Month, 8 "Refugees" in US in Court for Joining ISIS, Al Qaeda So much for the multi-layered vetting " Politicians and the media can't stop bleating about all the "multi-layered vetting" that will keep any of the 10,000 Syrian migrants that Obama wants to bring to America in just one year from being terrorists. Even though polls show that between 13% to 30% of Syrian refugees support ISIS. (That's at least 1,300 ISIS supporters entering America in just one year.) Here's how well refugee vetting works. Senator Jeff Sessions has a list of some refugees in this country turned terrorists. It's a recent list and there were 8 refugees indicted in one month. In February 2015, Abdinassir Mohamud Ibrahim, a Somali refugee, was sentenced to prison for aiding Al-Shabaab, an affiliate of Al Qaeda, a section of which has switched its allegiance to ISIS. In that same month, Abdullah Ramo Pazara, Armin Harcevic, Nihad Rosic, Sedina Unkic Hodzic and Ramiz Zijad Hodzic, Mediha Medy Salkicevic, Jasminka Ramic, Bosnian refugees, were indicted for joining and aiding ISIS. That's just one month. Then in April, Abdurahman Yasin Daud, a Somali refugee, was charged for aiding ISIS. As was Guled Ali Omar, another Somali refugee, whose brother had joined Al-Shabaab. Maybe instead of taking in thousands of terrorist supporters whom we'll later have to spy on and indict, we can just not take them and keep America safe. Because all that "multi-layered vetting" we keep hearing about doesn't work." |

How US covered up Saudi role in 9/11
By Paul Sperry. April 17, 2016 Former FBI agent John Guandolo, who worked 9/11 and related al Qaeda cases out of the bureau’s Washington field office, says Bandar should have been a key suspect in the 9/11 probe. “The Saudi ambassador funded two of the 9/11 hijackers through a third party,” Guandolo said. “He should be treated as a terrorist suspect, as should other members of the Saudi elite class who the US government knows are currently funding the global jihad.” http://nypost.com/2016/04/17/how-us-covered-up-saudi-role-in-911/ |

" ...$130,000 from then-Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar’s family checking account to yet another of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers ..." After he met on Sept. 13, 2001, with President Bush in the White House, where the two old family friends shared cigars on the Truman Balcony, the FBI evacuated dozens of Saudi officials from multiple cities, including at least one Osama bin Laden family member on the terror watch list. Instead of interrogating the Saudis, FBI agents acted as security escorts for them, even though it was known at the time that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027767408 |

Topic: Why Are So Many Westerners Joining ISIS? I have come to the conclusion this is a trick question. So.. The answer is either, to convert them or to or send them to Mohammed ASAP Yea. That must be it. There is direct relationship between terrorist, saudi arabia and converting people to Wahhabism How Saudi Wahhabism Is the Fountainhead of Islamist Terrorism By Dr. Yousaf Butt Updated Mar 22, 2015 Dr. Yousaf Butt is a senior advisor to the British American Security Information Council and director at the Cultural Intelligence Institute. The views expressed here are his own. LONDON — The horrific terrorist attacks on the Charlie Hebdo weekly in Paris have led to speculation as to whether the killers — the brothers Chérif and Saïd Kouachi — were lone wolves or tied to masterminds in ISIS or its rival, Al-Qaeda. Although Al-Qaeda in Yemen has taken credit for the attack, it is unclear how closely the affiliate actually directed the operation. No matter which organizational connections (if any) ultimately prove to be real, one thing is clear: the fountainhead of Islamic extremismthat promotes and legitimizes such violence lies with the fanatical “Wahhabi” strain of Islam centered in Saudi Arabia. And if the world wants to tamp down and eliminate such violent extremism, it must confront this primary host and facilitator. |
