god did it... the bible thumpers answer to everything....

That is not a logical explanation. They always use that "divine intervention" argument but that goes against everything they are suppose to believe.
IF God is perfect and never makes a mistake...why the need to intervene in anything?

got me... they are not exactly "logical" in their explanations...

[But, as by this theory, innumerable transitional forms must have existed, why do we not find them embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?" ]

Every fossil is an example of a transition from what existed before it to what came after. The only exception would be creatures that fossilised immediately before the species became extinct.

lots of the early fossils had no bones to fossilize, either... if life started in the oceans, then most would be cartridge or other soft tissues..

* EVOLUTION - Is it science or religion

* It is a Religious Science
* The dominant cultures spread religious-science around the world and has brought humans to this time and place,(2016/home).
* Very soon new worlds will be planted so(our)evolution will continue with the same religious-science.
** Evolution: similar but different.

no, it's not... the creator dreams have no basis, no facts and no way of proving... just a random guess that some people think makes some kind of sense...

If Darwin was such an evolutionist, why would he promote racism by saying on the second page of his infamous book, Origin of Species, "Preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life"? Is he talking about evolution?

If Evolution is not a religion, why is it dominating school books and trying to disprove a creator by teaching children that we all came from rock billions of years ago? WHAT!

1950s there was around 2000 words about evolution in our school books
By 1963 there was more than 33,000 words about evolution. Prayer was also taken out of the school system that year. Did anyone bother to check what statistics show in American child behavior since 1963?

Carl Marx, the founder of Communism (which is based on evolution theory) was obviously a Darwin supporter. He quotes: "My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism" Evolution?

I also wonder who Jeremiah spoke about when he said: Saying to a tree, "you are my father" and to a stone "You gave birth to me"

And yes, there will always be creationists and evolutionists :)

answer: yes. People spoke and wrote differently in those days, and this verbiage reflects that. However, even if Darwin HAD been a racist, a claim for which no valid proof exists, it would not affect whether or not evolution were true.

If Evolution is not a religion, why is it dominating school books and trying to disprove a creator by teaching children that we all came from rock billions of years ago? WHAT!

Virulently false reasoning, with non-facts added for "spice." Evolution does NOT even ATTEMPT to " disprove a creator." And if the amount of time dedicated to a subject WERE the one true way to decide if it is a religion or not, then we would all have to admit that grammar, Arithmetic, and the proper use of plumbing facilities, are all deeply religious subject areas.

A lot of things happened during that time, including a tremendous change in how statistics about child behavior are gathered. As in they were not gathered before, and they were gathered after.

Carl Marx, the founder of Communism (which is based on evolution theory)
False. Communism is based on ignoring or preventing change, not recognizing and studying it.
was obviously a Darwin supporter.
False.

He quotes: "My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism" Evolution?

Fine. Darwin does not.

I also wonder who Jeremiah spoke about when he said: Saying to a tree, "you are my father" and to a stone "You gave birth to me"

Not remotely pertinent to the discussion at hand.

And yes, there will always be creationists and evolutionists :)

The one more rational and likely true statement in the post.

In Darwin's time the word 'races' was used as a synonym for 'species'.

Evolution is the natural selection of all living things. It is a constant, continual process which is determined by many factors, one certainly being the enviroment and condition of. Over time and with each species subjected to said benefactors, they evolve in ways that change their looks, their actions, their physical ability, the list can go on and on. I predict one day and all who know how evolution works from studying and researching and one don't have to be educated in the field from a young college age to learn, our domestic dogs, whom are mostly living inside the home of their owners now and treated as, yes humans, their children and not as what they are, will lose their dew claws and who knows what else will change about them. So evolution can be defined in layman terms as the adaptation of a species in which nature around it enables the change needed to survive such conditions. It has nothing what so ever to do with an assumed religion, religion is out of context where evolution is concerned. Religion remains the same, while the real world we know is constantly in change. Hence the saying, time changes everything, nothing remains the same.

nice post, but i was thinking that humans, if we don't destroy ourselves first, will do more to change evolution than nature will... stupid people who decide they want a pink poodle, or a cat without claws, maybe even an animal like an octopus that can do advertising with color changes - or whatever their warped minds can come up with, will find a way to do it genetically and change the face of nature forever...
