“Take My Hand”

I stand here with my outstretched hand.
There is nothing that I demand.
You see I saw you on your knees.
Soon I heard your voice and your pleas.
And it seems that in your life.
You have had to deal with strife.
I’m no Angel from above.
Miracles I can not offer only friendship and love.
It is your choice of where you go.
Only you will ever know.
For all must realize and see.
Where it is some day they want to be.
All I can do is to offer my hand.
And listen and maybe help you understand.
You see there is a chance I have also been there.
On my knees and someone heard my pleas of despair.
They held out there hand and I chose.
To take a hold and come out of the dark so I suppose.
You see that for me to repay my debt.
I have this need to offer my hand when I see someone upset.
For no matter what it is that has us down.
Stand up and take a look around.
You see those that came home from the war.
That lost both legs and what is in store.
A child that was born with holes in there little heart.
They were dealt a death wish from the start.
But did it take them down.
Did they let the water come over there head and drown.
No instead they chose to walk into the light.
Yes they had to work at it and put up a fight.
So maybe you can see now I can only offer my hand.
It is up to you if you come forward or stay in no mans land.
You see I’m not here to follow where you are.
I’ve seen the dark the heart ache and I grabbed a shooting star.
It is your choice to wallow in that hell.
Or take my hand and open your heart open that shell.
Let others in and see what is in store.
Open your heart and your eyes see the world and explore.
And if times get you down.
Take the time and really look around.
For there is always someone else we should think about.
We don’t even have to think it’s without a doubt.
We must look within for you see there is always a way.
To walk into the light and be able too stay.

At times in our lives once we have taken that outstretched hand we are compelled to repay that debt by offering our hand to another. But ..........retgardless at times we must understand it was not meant to be for us to help that person maybe they were not ready yet and down the road another will be able to get through. So at times if you have tried all you know how to help that person and they chose not to take hold of your hand then you have a choice to make cut those ties or let them suck you back into no man's land. It's your choice now!! STAY IN THE LIGHT DON'T LET THE SHADOWS PULL YOU BACK IN THE DARK AS WELL.

Noden yes I must admit as well when I hold out my hand and I touch a heart down to the soul. It feeds the need within my self and brings a smile to my face. I never ask anything in return from another except there true friendship. And to at times remember back when they see another down. Yeah maybe there problems seem minor compared to what others deal wtih but..... there problems are real to them.

You say that I guided you in reality we guided each other
for you see you opened my eyes as well. The strength you
have within was shinning brightly you knew the road that
you must take and your only concern was for your family.
All I did was hold out my hand to one that became a dear
friend and to be there to listen if you needed to talk.
But I only had one goal see I knew your body I could not
heal for that was between the doctors, you and God. My
goal was to lighten the load and bring laughter in to
your life each day hehehehe even tho it almost
cost me a monitor from you spit all over it lmao believe
me it would have been worth it to hear you laugh.
