It amazes me that people put so much into an article from top right news. It's just like those made up tabloids at the super market.

The hymen isn't proof of virginity. In most cases the tissue is worn, and possibly torn, during adolescence with exercise, bike riding and even walking. It's a myth that the hymen is always torn with bleeding occurring the first time a female has sexual intercourse. A hymen can stretch and remain intact even after intercourse.
The real tragedy is that this girl, any girl regardless of a families religious beliefs, is shamed for the misconception about the hymen and what constitutes her virginity.
