“Love Come and Goes”


Why does it seem love does not last?
Before you know it new loves will be in the past.
They never seem to hang around.
When it’s over it makes you feel so down.
To the point you don’t know what to do.
Nor do you really even know.
It still will make you wonder why.
Why we can’t seem to rely.
On love to just stay.
Once it comes our way.
Some reason or the other it seems.
Those kinds of loves are only in our dreams.
It does no matter how much.
We might want to touch.
Or that it is a love we want to keep.
It seems as if in the end it will surely make us weep.
Guess it is just hard to understand.
Why it is nothing seems to go as planned?
Makes you wonder why one should have hope.
If you know in the end when they leave you must learn to cope.
When these things that happen and the reasons.
No matter within what seasons.
We don’t get to pick and choose when things go wrong.
Instead we must learn to be strong.
And learn to move along.
One day we will find that place we belong.
