Cold
and then
hot
it's as if
the weather's
unpredictable winds
flow through my thoughts

The cold fears
of when
love is weakened
the heat
of our midnight awakening

The back
and forth
another ending
another rebirth
I'm afraid
for my self-esteem's worth
it's tortuous
to live like this
not wanting
and then hoping we share
another first kiss
