Sometimes it is easy to feel rejected and depressed and believe the lie that the only way to be loved is to pound yourself into the often distorted mold that someone tells you will make you loveable even if that mutilates who you are as a person.

Loneliness can be overwhelming. Especially when a person craves physical contact as is normal. You are a young man that is in that difficult age that you are hoping for relationship but the circumstances have not quite fallen into place. If I had a single dollar for every young adult in your shoes I have known over my life then I would be quite a wealthy woman. Since that may not feel totally comforting just take it as a seed of faith that you will find answers, feel better, and quite likely find love rather soon. I can't count the number of times that has proven to be true.

What I found that works is trying to build a foundation of acceptance by nurturing relationships with family, and friends, and even in a mutual faith community, and nice places like Mingle. Get a mix in the real world and on line. You can actually learn a lot about life in the collective wisdom/fellowship on line.

I think if you read, and take to heart some of the nice/wise responses you are getting here, Cire Tom's I would cut and past to my printer and read every day for a month , among others.

And if necessary addressing any physical and mental health issues (you seem depressed) such as often discounted chronic conditions that can make life miserable. BUT please pay attention they are manageable and can make coping much less difficult and if you do, you will thrive.

I have looked at your profile and I don't see any glaring reason you should discount yourself as unloveable. You look and sound actually very normal and that puts you so far ahead of others it truly a blessing. One I hope you will try to use not to put down those less fortunate but to just be a personal affirmation.

There is a common thought process called "Stinking Thinking" and like old fish you leave in the garbage it tends to just get worse so do your best to clear it out of your mind. You feel it creeping in just say to yourself my Mingle friends say I am good so So I am good. Put a smile on your face and "Fake it until you make it." It won't happen over night but it will become something you can do.

Lying to say you are White when you are Black or lying to saying you are 30 when you are 40. Or lying to saying you've never married when you are here looking for your 8th Husband or 31st Wife. I always say that "The truth is like a pregnancy it always grow upwards and not do wards or like a candle under a bed you can never hid it. Most likely people told him some very hurtful things David. I have seen a lot of hate on this site towards people of his ethnicity. That can't be easy for a sensitive person to hear day in, day out.
