When a person meets someone;generally use: friendly kisses; hand's shaking or just kind words....or a combination of it.
I think;it depends on behaviors based in cultural roots by each country. Some countries accept or not; some kind of behaviors. Don't try to "contact" a married woman; in a "friendly way";specially; in front of her husband. It depends.....by each country and culture. Be careful. thanks |

.I use the sniff there behind technique..... generally, if they're okay with this !..then we will probably get along just fine..lol

I know it is customary in Kuwait to adresse a man's wife as Mrs followed by the husband's first name. That was how my mother was addressed when over there.Customs are a strange thing,you mess with them at your peril.

I generally like to just stare.
Don't say a word, and don't move. Just seeing how they react, is quite amusing. BTW..do not do this with a bear, dog, cougar, or other carnivorous animal. |

When I meet someone for the first time I am warm open minded and friendly.
Everyone is different. If it's a wife and husband team I put more effort on the wife and getting to know her. Why??? Don't want her thinking I'm after her man. Ewwwe That's a big no no. |

If left up to me I would probably hug the person I am meeting for the first time but since I know people have their boundries, I settle for a warm hand-shake
