Sorry, first proper attempt at a poem.
I've been inspired into reading about meter, and would like to get into more beat style poetry such as Sual Williams etc. I'm not so much concerned about rhyming poetry styles. If anyone has any good books they would like to share, I'd be grateful. I've been running lines through my head all day, and thought I'd get something out, unfortunately for you, I've decided to share it. -- Concealed by your different uniform, Oh look at me, I'm so damned special, Check us out, none of us conform, Keep telling yourself, that your not equal. Seeking acceptance, from people unknown, Upsetting the norm, like you think you should, Changing yourself to stay in that zone, Keel over now, please just remove your hood! Eventually there is no more to say, Reality is, I hate you anyway. -- |

Cheer MsWizard
Sounds a bit like the Breakfast Club, but with an un-happy ending. Sounds like a good read, thanks. |
