My friends and I had a habit of watching basketball on ESPN at my friend's apartment. It became an every weekend thing.

So, on this particular afternoon, it was a double-header, so like...3-4 hours of TV watching. We ordered some pizzas and were drinking some beer. My friend (who I'm giving an alias) Ronny had already been partying the night before, and was shorter than the rest of us was feeling kind of bad, so he went to lay down on the couch in the other room.

I get up to use the bathroom, and on my way there I look and realize Ronny is about as tall as the couch is wide. Now this couch is the fold out kind, the kind that folds out into a bed. So I get this stupid idea...

I go back in where everyone is watching TV, and I tell them about Ronny and the couch. So, we lift him up, unfold the couch, place him on the bed, and roll the couch back up with Ronny lying inside. Put the cushions back and if you had walked in, wouldn't know there was anyone inside.

We all have a good laugh, go back and watch the games. Remember, this is a double header and there is lots of time left. Finally, it's time to go, and we're saying our goodbyes. We can hear a muffled "Mmmmmmghgghghghg." What the hell is that we think...finally, we're like, "Oh, ****...Ronny!" So, we get all the cushions off, and let him out...

He was pissed. I've never seen his face so red. He just got his stuff, and walked out with out saying a word. He didn't talk to any of us for weeks.

Looking back on it, this was really stupid. He could have suffocated, or if he had puked, died...

But since nothing bad happened, it's one of those things you can look back on and laugh. We're all friends now, and we know better than to do that again...
