I saw the movie, kind of boring, alright special effects but the book's got to be a lot better.

no i am watching "the Martian" at the moment. I finished watching the first 1 hr and fell asleep. i will finish that one, and probably i will choose an other one from the Oscar nominees. it may be a sci-fi one if there is any. i am totally away from the Oscar nominees this year. Last year i had seen them all before the winner was announced. this year i have no idea :s Is the Martian pretty good? I thought about buying it since read part of the book and it was interesting. the movie is NOT great but still watchable. To me it looked like they showed everything like an "alice in wonderland" - the man has no difficulties, no struggles to survive, everything goes fine.. i think it is because they had to cut all the details down, just to squeeze the whole book in a 2,5 hours movie. and that made many feelings lost. still i have half an hour left to watch. i do not know how the story ends. but i think better to stick on to book. the movie looks like the story has been ruined. |

yes we do celebrate it here in Turkey too i mean they celebrate, the lovers lol me not i think i will just go to the mall and throw disturbing glances to couples. hopefully if any couple argues, i will be happy that 2 more will be joining the Lonesome's Club. If i see more then 3 couples breaking up during the day which makes 6 more members to the club, then i can buy myself a gift to celebrate it

there was an other novel called the martian, at least the name in my language was that
it was forbidden to be published for some years, then some parts were edited and re-published again i had read some of the un-edited original version but couldn't finish for the last couple of hrs i am trying to find that book on google |
