I have been on here most of the day and no one has said two words to me...beginning to think I'm not doing this right lol how do you get people to chat with on this site?

Welcome lillovebean! What you are doing now is actually a good start. When you start discussions in forum, and comment on people's responses, it is a great way of breaking the ice and getting people to know you. If you o this often enough, it will make you more visible to other chatters so that you are more likely to get approached or if you are brave enough , you can even start approaching people after you have spent a little time posting in the forum. I am pretty new myself. I just joined a couple of weeks ago. Welcome! And ifyou have the time , I encourage you to read the comments on the conversation I started called "profile turn offs and pet peeves". You will get some great insight into the features of a profile that inspire them to respond to or ignore other individuals. I hope you find it helpful. Welcome to Mingles2 and good luck to you!

Sorry Sunday's are not always real populated with chatters. People are doing chores, watching TV/Net flix, even the scammers tend to take a day off.

Sorry if you don't have something to keep a thread going it can be tough. Not a real time chat response any more now the instant message is offline. But the advice to post in various threads and develop some friends will help.

Think you probably would have better luck getting a response with a better Lead shot (this one is so unisex it will confuse respondents) and tweaking your profile which is pretty generic in interests; add verbs and photos one at a time to get views).

Are you thinking that your inbox will fill up quickly. Sometimes that happens and sometimes it doesn't.

Like people have said come out on the forums and join in conversations.
Let people see who you are is one great way.

You can also send the first email if you see someone you are interested in.


Also tweaking your profile will help a bit. I remember when I first came out on the internet almost a decade ago lol.
I even read some womens profile to get an idea on what they were putting on theirs...
