Topic: would you pass or take? | |

I met a wonderful guy one week before he left for Germany in the military. We spent every minute together for that week. We wrote each other almost everyday for nearly two years. He finally came home on leave and we spent the whole time together. We tearfully said farewell at the airport and swore our undieing love for each other. We continued writing for nearly a full year when he asked me to break the law and send him drugs in the mail. Sorry I never spoke to him again. I never forgot him either. I just wish I hadn't invested so much of my life on him, because when it came down to it we all change. In end..........Don't wait.

more details? ok
they were together for 2 years and he had just turned 18 and went out with his friends and they robbed a convenient store. no one was hurt in the incident but i personally think it is a long time to serve for that crime. he was sentenced to serve 10 then the remaining 17 on probation. i have seen people who have done some henious crimes come home after 2 or 3 years. she has been writing to him since he got locked up and has held other relationships since he left. but now thinking of waiting the other 5 years for him to come home. |

I waited 5 years for a woman to make up her mind, she was married BUT separated. She ended up going back to her husband then they divorced a year later. Did I pass up meeting another woman that might have made me happy, I honestly don't know because I didn't take any chances. NO ONE is worth putting your life on hold, despite where they are or what they've done. I say dump him and move on.
