The news channels recently noted that, in order to keep live Christmas trees fresh and to make them last longer, some people put sugar or aspirin in the Christmas tree stand water to keep them from drying out so fast. However, if you use aspirin, you can’t have any ornaments on the tree, because, if you use aspirin…..the trees have to be Bayer (bare)! (If you put up plastic Christmas trees, you have to use artificial sweetener!)
