Wow - sounds like the biggest tent revival in the world.
I think it's a fine idea and it'll work too, as long as the contect is controlled and they don't start comparing doctrine or morals. Or maybe, it'll become a 'Unitarion' network - you know, like one God for all and all for one God. Now let's see, how can we initiate a message of equality, and brotherly love and concern for all Gods' oppressed??? |

“Wow - sounds like the biggest tent revival in the world.” If it sticks to the real purpose of the religion (i.e. to save individual souls on a personal level) then it would be quite harmless and not be problematic. However, when religions become organized on a large scale like this they never stick to their original agenda. What will happen is that they will use their clout and large following to try to influence politics and force other people by law to behave in ways that they misinterpret from their doctrines. That’s religion gone awry and why religions ultimately end up becoming war machines. It’s not good. Commercialize religion can be an extremely dangerous thing. People can’t simultaneously worship mammon and God. That combination has never worked. Moreover, if you read the article in the Link Blatant provided it sounds like Christian extremists are jumping on this technological bandwagon for the purpose of getting a leg up on Islam. It’s clear that the Christian dominated world has an extreme technology advantage in the Internet. If they jump on it now with the focused goal of overwhelming the Muslim religions they will most likely succeed. Because people really are like lemmings. They tend to follow the masses. Christianity already has the numbers in their favor as being the most popular religion on earth. If they can swell that number even further they can stomp out all other religions by simply downing them out in number. Who’s going to listen to a handful of Muslims when the overwhelming majority of the world is Christian? Some thing with other religions. The vast majority of people don’t have the ability to think for themselves. They just follow whatever the masses are doing and accept that the masses must be right. Unfortunate but true. The mob mentality is a POWERFUL motivator. |

I don't know Abra - getting a bunch people to commit to an on-line thing is a lot different that trying to get them oranized in one place.
There's too much goin with internet law these days. As a non-profit religious organization (if they try to establish same) in the U.S. they couln't extend their reach too far. Someone at the helm would be too greedy and it would become too obvious real soon. Now on the other hand, there's no tellin how far they'd go if their 'funds' continued to pour in from outside. BUT then again, the internet is an open window. In fact business on the internet is probably the stupidest thing I can think of, for someone to try to "organize". |

It's sad that we request for understanding for our choices in life, and we seem to be so ready to attack others choices in life.
I can't request for justice with dirty hands. |

When Christianity becomes a political movement to gain power over others you need to start asking who’s abusing the name of Jesus?
It might not be the people you first suspect Miguel. |
