Abso-Friggin-Loutely! As a matter of fact I find encouragement when I see videos like I saw the other night. I've never heard of killer Mike before, but I saw him absolutely fire up a crowd in Atlanta. He was telling it like it is. "Don't ever give up" (paraphrasing). It was at a rally by Bernie Sanders. Yes, I fight the good fight. But discouragement sets in every now and then. If you've never seen it, just Bing "killer mike-sanders" and it should come up. A very powerful message. And well done too. Many people need to see it.

A rebel is a person who stands up for their own personal opinions despite what anyone else says. A true rebel stands up for what they believe is right, not against what's right. It's not about smoking crack, drinking till you're rendered unconsious, or beating the crap out of anyone that crosses your path. It's all about being an individual and refusing to follow a crowd that forces you to think the same way they do even if it means becoming an outcast to society. True rebels know who they are and do not compromise their individuality or personal opinion for anyone. They're straightforward and honest and they will sure as hell tell it like it is.
I was born to rebel. I run with scissors. I tear tags off merchandise, before leaving the store. I eat toast..butter side down. I could go on and on. But I don't want to. SO THERE. |

Rebels I can generally tolerate; even like on occasion. It is the rebels with out a clue that get tiresome.
The people who think general societal rules just don't apply to them because it is inconvenient. People who are so selfish that they set aside others rights so they can pretend their tired, lame, even cruel choices will somehow be over looked. Particularly bugs me when I see it catch up innocent children who are treated like accidents rather than human beings. The people who try to pretend they are cool and so are not. The wanna be's are kind of ridiculous. I just watch and shake my head. |

are you a rebel
No. I always liked the stormtrooper look. Although I don't understand their armor since it doesn't protect from lasers, and they're too loose fitting to be used as space suits, but they look cool and chicks would be all "you got an empire job? and your own tie fighter? whatup?!" And it would be awesome living on a death star, but if I was a stormtrooper I probably wouldn't be able to afford to rent, just work, there. What do rebels get? Orange jumpsuits, years of fighting with no real progress, living on frozen planets, fighting so poorly and incompetently they need a teenage kid and a criminal to come do everything for them. |

I do not look as a rebel the same as a criminal.
To me a rebel is more like someone who does not conform just for conforms sake. Someone who is different and is just fine being different. I consider the group of doctors who got together in Colorado and stopped the siesures of suffering children and their families as rebels because they did it with marijuana and the idea was far from popular. Woman who fought for our right to vote were rebels. The idea was not popular Many people display there rebellion in simple ways, from how they dress to how they dye their hair. |

I farted in church once.
I wasn't even a member of the congregation. |

I certainly stand up for my own personal beliefs. I get VERY fed up with people telling me where I should live next, and who with. Only I have the final say in that. I know where I want to be. It's no-ones decision but my own. One thing I've learned is keeping myself to myself. I don't care to "join the clan", as neighbours can quickly spread lies or gossip. I stick to what I know and like.

rebel as a noun:
a person who rises in opposition or armed resistance against an established government or ruler. ^^^if this is what it means to be a rebel then I am not. radical as an adjective: -(especially of change or action) relating to or affecting the fundamental nature of something; far-reaching or thorough. -advocating or based on thorough or complete political or social reform; ^^^ in the real world I am. In Mingle it is too soon to say, I am still on more than 120th days. Since I kind of see mingle as a masquerade "socialization" party, everyone has a right to change costumes and be who they want to be. Just because I do not have the time nor I feel the need to conform in changing costumes, since I normally dont stay that long, that doesnt mean I have the right to criticize anyone who have the time, resources & love for masquerade balls. I just dont like kissing asse@@. I dont like being force to do something that I do not want. If a man approaches me on a masquarade ball & treat me roughly when we dance, and the next time I met him in the dance floor he is all gentleman in a different costume, and I am sure that it is still him, I would feel like being a puppet. I feel like being played upon. Just because I do not change costumes, because I do not feel the need, and I frankly do not have the time it does not mean, u can just play with me and my emotions. Is that being a rebel? Is that tantamount to rising an opposition or armed resistance? I do not think so, just because I could not bring myself to conform and do what everybody is doing, that does not mean I am opposing something. It just means I am different. I just choose my own path. |
