Chelsea Clinton to buy $10.5 million apartment on Madison Square Park

Chelsea Clinton, $10M Apartment, $3M Wedding, $600K Job: I Just Don't Care About Money

Chelsea Clinton tried to care about money but couldn't

The daughter of former President Bill Clinton and ex-secretary of state Hillary Clinton explained in a new interview why she left lucrative professions and opted for working with her family’s philanthropic foundation. ‘I was curious if I could care about (money) on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t,’ she said.
The Clinton name likely opened doors for the political heiress, including an eye-popping $600,000 annual salary for an irregular stint as an NBC special correspondent, but Chelsea insists her work speaks for itself.

“I will just always work harder (than anybody else) and hopefully perform better,” she said.

“And hopefully, over time, I preempt and erase whatever expectations people have of me not having a good work ethic, or not being smart, or not being motivated.”

Clinton wed husband Marc Mezvinsky, a former Goldman Sachs banker who started his own hedge fund, in a lavish 2010 ceremony estimated to have cost $3 million.

Never understood how ANYONE would spend a big chunk of money to live in the middle of a huge city....to each their own, I guess. For $10 mil, I could buy a pretty big chunk of land here....and have zero neighbors.....not right on top of me anyway.

What?!?!?!?!

A woman said something like "I don't care about money" or "money doesn't matter?"

And it doesn't seem true?!?!

Next thing you'll tell me guys with expensive cars get hotter dates.

Or guys with better, more high paying, prestigious job titles, get laid more often.

What is this world coming to?!

I blame the internet and Obamacare for this brand new phenomenon.

What will happen next? Hugh Hefner coming out and telling people he married all of his wives for their looks and not their beautiful inner personality like he obviously did?

“I will just always work harder (than anybody else) and hopefully perform better,” she said.

Don't you people see she's listing her weaknesses like in a job interview?
She works too hard, she's too much of a perfectionist.
Lots of people suffer from that.

Leave Chelsea alone! She's a human being! Waaaaa!

Couldn't cut it in the real world, had to go to work for mommy and daddy.

Well... congrats to the hideous ratchet, and whoever/whatever married her.

Some love it, I have a uncle living there. Somehow he got a rent controlled apartment like 25 years ago in Manhattan and he made good bucks at Con Ed. now he is retired but they can only raise his rent a little.. he has is made.

But for me, growing up there, it was a easy choice.. once you could, you got the hell out. Most people bolt to N.J.

although Uncle Bill did get shot in the *** once by some crazed guy terrorizing the city with a BB rifle. He was on T.V. Said he was embarrassed and would have preferred getting shot in the arm or leg.. but not the ***.. Lol

It ( $$ s.f) depends on where in the city. I have been in some really small apartments that cost a lot and I have been in some 3-4 story brownstones that are mansions. Most of the brownstones are from the industrial age era... beautiful and passed down thru families.

But all in all the cost in N.Y.C ( Any borough) is very high.. almost to the point that you can't live there, unless you are rich, rooming with more people or living in a rent control housing project.

And yes, Uncle Bill took it right in the *** .. I think that is what embarrassed him.. on channel 7 news to boot.. took years to live it down Lol
