Never know with half-stories like this. Yea, I know. Like the one about the "Weapons Grade Uranium story that has been stolen, multiple times, in Russia and sold on the "Black Market". I'm sure those were just half-stories too. Dam Right wing media Makes me want to laugh. |

there must be both aim between the southern and northern. rage is uncontrolable emotion in the world. but our ancestor already teaching us the word mercy. esspecially within the chaos. there is one thing i can considering is if the center of Amazon becoming some kind of capitialist camp then all we need is a plane bigger then the earth. then is there people needs the "woods" or council. that is a complicate request. at least for now.

I'm sure those were just half-stories too. Dam Right wing media Makes me want to laugh. You miss my point, I think. Running off to blame conspiracies doesn't help anyone, and worse, makes it more likely that dangers will be ignored. There are plenty of news outlets of all varieties and biases these days, as well as tons of foreign sources, any of which could follow up on this so far unsubstantiated story, and find out what if anything actually happened. People who simply chant and pat themselves on the back for making snide remarks about left OR right wing media, aren't doing anything positive at all. Resources to deal with threats are limited. We can't chase after every alleged threat. And if we chase the wrong one, we will leave ourselves open to attack elsewhere. When and if this story gets some actual investigation behind it, and not just the rumors and misquotes that have this immediate report so confused, then we can get serious about it. |

Syrians with Stolen Passports Arrested in Honduras
Mexicans, Central, and South Americans are arrested with stolen and fake identities, passports and drivers licenses and social security numbers, all the time. When the silk road website was up you could buy as many fake i.d.'s and passports or identities as you wanted, anonymously, via the internet. Some states will issue drivers licenses to foreigners without requiring any kind of proof they are here legally. Good job they arrested people with stolen passports. ...But it doesn't really mean anything, at least to us in the U.S. It's like saying "Syrians with athletes foot arrested in Honduras." Whoop de doo. It didn't stop any kind of pandemic or danger. |

Honduras detains Syrians bound for U.S. with doctored Greek passports
World | Wed Nov 18, 2015 10:52pm EST Honduran authorities said on Wednesday they had intercepted six Syrian nationals traveling on doctored Greek passports in the past week, including five who had been trying to reach the United States. Police said there were no signs of any links to last week's deadly attacks in Paris that killed 129 people. Islamic State claimed responsibility for the shooting and suicide bombing assault. Five of the men were detained late on Tuesday in the Honduran capital, Tegucigalpa, on arrival from Costa Rica, and had been planning to head to the border with neighboring Guatemala, police said. They said passports had been doctored to replace the photographs with those of the Syrians. Anibal Baca, a Honduras police spokesman, said the five were trying to reach the United States. A sixth man was turned away on Friday on arrival by plane from El Salvador, and was sent back. They are the first such cases of attempted illegal entry by Syrians into Honduras since the Central American country started compiling records in 2010. However, the case appears to form part of a spate of such incidents. Police in the former Dutch Caribbean colony of St Maarten on Saturday arrested three men they believed to be Syrians who arrived on a flight from Haiti and were traveling on false Greek passports. In Paraguay, police detained a Syrian man on Sunday who was traveling on a stolen Greek passport. Reports that at least one of the Paris attackers may have slipped into Europe among migrants registered in Greece prompted several Western countries to begin to question their willingness to take in refugees from war-torn Syria. Republican Senator James Risch of Idaho said he found the news "very troubling", and wondered whether the men formed part of a militant sleeper cell to be planted in the United States, or whether it was something far more innocent. |

Whoop de doo. It didn't stop any kind of pandemic or danger. Yea, France and Belgium thought the same way too. Whoop de doo! Again, I vote for ACTUALLY using facts and logic as much as possible, and avoiding any knee-jerk actions in any direction. So far, all of the evidence about the Paris murders, shows that they were carried out 100% by FRENCH AND BELGIAN NATIONALS. No Syrian refugees involved at all. So making self-congratulatory, self-righteous statements like the above, just muddies the airwaves with nonsense. On the other hand, again applying actual thought, it would certainly be LOGICAL for terrorists and other people with less than honorable intentions, to USE the existence of Syrians fleeing the war zone, to carry out other actions. Those actions, however, could include a lot more than just ISIS promotion. It could even include "false flag" operations, designed precisely to get everyone to blame real Syrian refugees for anything and everything, thus increasing both the ability to hide their real actions, AND to increase the benefits to ISIS< that come from all generalized Western attacks on things Islamic, and on things Middle Eastern. On balance, this story actually shows that existing processes, when followed correctly, WORKED to catch these guys. No indication that further erosion of personal freedoms, or increased spending on anti-Syrian activities is warranted. |
