"" The parents of a Vietnamese-Australian man may have had a lack of foresight when they named him ‘Phuc Dat Bich.’ The 23-year-old Melbourne cleaner uploaded a snap of his passport and vented his frustration on Facebook after the social media giant terminated his account three times on the grounds it was 'false and misleading.' The post has amassed tens of thousands of shares and hilarious comments, with scores of social media users suggesting he should embrace the unique translation of his name. ‘I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it,’ the post reads. ‘I've been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive. Is it because I'm Asian? Is it?’ ‘Having my fb shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my "real" name, so just to put it out there. My name.'"" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3326627/Man-hilarious-posts-passport-Facebook-prove-s-real.html |

That poor guy... Reminds me of a story I heard of a WWII American soldier fighting in the European theater who was named 'Adolph Hitler'. When someone suggested that he change his name, he replied with "I'm not the one that's disgraced the name, let that other SOB change HIS name!" |

Was his parents on something? I've heard of a lot of unusual names but these are the worse. I feel sorry for the kids. My initials is short for a disease and that was bad enough. |

OPs Was his parents on something? I've heard of a lot of unusual names but these are the worse. I feel sorry for the kids. My initials is short for a disease and that was bad enough. Kids get bullied even because of their names. I thought long and hard on names for my kids. I thought of possible nicknames. Names that can be shorten. I even yell the name out to see how it sounded in different tones. I was not going to take chances. |

I think someone should have the right to punch their father in the face if he named them Harry Balls. you shouldn't get in trouble for that. |

A young man walks through New York Chinatown and notices a shop with the name Hans Olaffsen's Laundry. He thought it seemed out of place but curiosity got the best of him and he walked into the shop. He sees an old Chinese man sitting in the corner.
He asked the old man, How in the world did this place get a name like Hans Olaffsen's Laundry? Old Man - That's the name of the owner. Young Man - Who's the owner? Old Man - I am. Young Man - How did you get a name like Hans Olaffsen? Old Man - Many years ago when I came to this country from Hong Kong, I was standing in line at Immigration. A man in front of me was a big blond Norwegian. The lady from Immigration asked him, What is your name? He say "Hans Olaffsen". Lady ask me, What is your name? I say Sam Ting. |
