Topic: Telepathic 5 year old genius savant in LA | |
---|---|
On top of having some incredible skills in language and mathematics, this genius savant, a 5-year-old boy from Los Angeles, is also said to have psychic powers.
Los Angeles, California resident Ramses Sanguino has been diagnosed with autism. He is also being described as a “child savant” since he is able to solve complex mathematical equations and speak several different foreign languages ever since he was young. The video posted on YouTube by the boy’s mother, Nyx Sanguino, shows Ramses speaking Russian at 13 months old, speaking Japanese at the age of 2 and solving complex algebra now at the age of 5. After being trained at John Hopkins University, Dr. Powell starting running a private practice in the city of Medford, Oregon. She decided to work with and study Ramses as a part of her cutting-edge research project on telepathy. Dr. Powell believes that telepathy may be more common in children with autism because it provides an alternative form of communication between the children and their parents who ‘desperately want to communicate with one another, but can’t’. Dr. Powell is both a researcher and neuroscientists who also said: "If you think about it, if you have your primary language compromised then that would be a perfect setup for telepathy. I have found many autistic children who have been reported to be telepathic and I wanted to see it for myself and see if it can be evaluated and actually tested under rigorous, controlled conditions." She claims to already be seeing the early signs of telepathic ability in at least 7 different people. Dr. Powell tested Ramses’s telepathic abilities by using a random number generator. She then had Ms. Sanguino think about the random number and then asked Ramses to read his mother’s mind and say the number she was thinking. The experiment was filmed by the Barcroft US group on youtube and Ramses was able to accurately say 3 of the 5 number correctly. Advertisements "To get three of them correct it would be one out of nine, times one out of nine, times one out of nine, which is one out of 729", Dr Powell said while also stressing that the results are not conclusive. "It’s very risky to one’s credibility to take on a subject like this", she also said. "I am as confident that telepathy exists as I am of a lot of things that are actually accepted by science." Ramses mother Ms. Sanguino says she isn’t concerned at all that her son can read her mind. She is working on trying to get Ramses into a school for children who are gifted. "He is so smart that sometimes he scares me," Nyx Sanguino said. "I really want him to have the best education in the world and be happy." Ramses mother also says that he can understand and recite parts of several different languages including Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, and Greek. He has a gift for mathematics and can solve rudimentary algebra problems. He knows how to work with square roots and can draw the entire periodic table from memory. Ramses is being homeschooled by his mother now since he kept having issues correcting his teachers. "I knew even before he was born he was going to be someone special who would change the world. Even when he was a baby he didn’t like toys, he just liked reading. He started reading when he was 12 months old and could even say words in English, Spanish, Greek and some Japanese. When he was 18 months old he knew all the multiplication tables in English and Spanish and had learned the periodic table and all the atomic numbers. I taught him some of the languages but I have no idea how he learned parts of Hindi, Arabic or Hebrew by the time he was three. It may have been through the house computer that is often left on. I put him into a school but it was a nightmare. He was the only child who could read in the class. The teacher liked him at first and called him the little professor. But soon Ramses started correcting her on some of her spelling and maths and the teacher began isolating him from other students. I had to take him out of the school and back home with me. He was too far ahead to learn anything there. He is different and people cannot understand the way he thinks. He is obsessed with numbers and will count everything, houses, books, letters, and he won't move on until he has counted them all." He has the gift to see things, if legitimate claim. I always tell my kids when learning math to try to see it with your mind. It's a puzzle your brain puts together for you.
As far as the telepathy, it just may be his brain working the odds and environment. A child's brain is like a sponge. And autistic children can have an affinity towards numbers. If you think about, everything in the universe is numerical. The brain often will rewire non working components for another use which seems to be what's occurring. Telepathy/mind reading is an interesting subject but may be titled as such because it is not fully understood, obviously. Leaves the field open for abuse and scammers. |

I would want the family history & DNA of the boy & his parents.
And then, the house checked for paranormal activity. One way another, that kid is out of this world. |

One way another, that kid is out of this world. in the picture (link) his mother looks as dumb as the rest of us. so what would DNA reveal? - a different neural structure?? nope, the TV was kept on - his mom could not afford a baby sitter. good thing the child is not wearing glasses; not yet. |

A small amount of telepathy runs in my family. Nothing dramatic, most noticeable when several of us are in a quiet room, all reading things to ourselves. Every now and then, we can hear what sounds like a muffled voice of one of the others as they concentrate, and we can see that their mouths are entirely closed, so it's not auditory.
It makes sense to me, that since brains are electro-chemical and we already know that electromagnetism can be used to alter peoples' thoughts and senses, that people with DNA related brains, might generate interpretable signals pf a sort. I'm still skeptical of the more magical notions about telepathy, where people claim to read the minds of distant strangers, though. |

I read about that guy too. Fascinating and intriguing story. No one has ever figured out how he managed to do what he did.
Not knowing exactly how the Egyptians managed the pyramids, two thousand years later, isn't surprising. All sorts of technologies have been discovered, used, then forgotten again over the centuries. But someone doing something that dramatic, that recently, is quite impressive. |

Most of us can read each others minds by observing (sometimes unconsciously) the activity of the muscles of the body, especially in the face and hands. Our brains are wired to our muscles, and our the activity of our muscles are there for anyone to see! Its like we walk around with a thought projecting device all the time: our own bodies.
Further, when a really capable person is constantly reading other people's thoughts, they can develop a good working model (again, sometimes unconsciously) of the other's mind, becoming able to predict the others thoughts and using that model fine tune their ability to read those thoughts unconsciusly revealed by our muscles. Some people are so much better at this than others, that it seems as if those people can do impossible feats of mind reading. To really prove that this is _not_ the mechanism by which one person reads another thoughts, you must (a) have them work with a complete stranger and (b) make sure they cannot see the other person. Better still if they cannot hear them. Have this kid sit in another room when he reads the cards - that would be a real test of so called telepathy that is not accomplished by reading thoughts through muscle actions. |

Actually, this is semi-bad advice.
It is based on the assumption that the mechanics of telepathy are already known. They are not. The "test parameters" listed, quite probably include elements which disrupt the telepathy. For example, "hearing" another person's mind, is quite likely a form of "listening." If the test for "listening," involves having the person demonstrating it, talk or shout loudly, then listening will be prevented from occurring, and the "tester" will claim to have proven that "listening" is a myth, or a delusion. Good science DOES establish tests. In every case where science has ADVANCED, the tests were designed (again) based directly on a known or knowledgeably theorized understandings of exactly what was being tested. |
