Perhaps because we want it too much. The more you want something the more unobtainable it becomes...sometimes. Just chill, go with the flow and it can happen unexpectedly.

Just chilling, and going with the flow usually seems to be a pretty good way to stay single.

The problem maybe that your being too picky and that your expectations are too high. Try to figure out what traits in a perspective partner are deal breakers and which one you can live with and go from there. Just do yourself a favor and never just take what you can get because in my experience that never works.

I would suggest you reexamine what you have to have against what you would like to have from a future partner.
There is no such thing as perfect mates. Humans both male and female are going to have flaws, quirks, and imperfections. It will make it much less defeating or discouraging if you know what is tolerable and what is unacceptable to you in your partner. |
