no just a lot of widowed military fakes report scammers good luck

I've encountered some fakes too...

I wonder why they love to pretend as a military personnel. Right?

They pretend to be Military Men because they want you to think they are men of honor. They tell you they are widowed to get you to feel sorry for them. Most will say they have a child but the child lives with a relative. They try to gain your trust they are Nigerian scammers or some other country. They will come on very strong like they are falling in love with you very quickly. After a bit they will tell you something tragic happened and they need you send them money to help them. They tell you as soon as they get back they will pay you back. Don't ever Give anyone money over the internet ever. Good Luck. Most will write you messages in broken English. Good luck and be careful.

The ones I get are mostly pictures of beautiful younger women, but they can't spell. They say, "tell me about yourself". When you ask them questions about the area they say they are from, they usually give up.

All members should have received an automatic e-mail concerning this issue and how to deal with it.

We are really sorry that you are running into this issue. The Site has a Report/Abuse System in place that all members are required to use to report such issue.

If you do not know how to report you can use the e-mail they sent you look to the bottom right click on Report/Abuse/Spam and follow the directions. These reports go straight to Admin. Mods do not handle Scammers only Admin does.

Another way you can report them is on their profile to the right you will see Report This User click on that and follow the instructions.

We rely on members to help us by reporting them. Many do slip by us and we need members to help by reporting.

We ask that the Forums not to be used for this problem due to we have a Report System which is noted in the Forum Rules.

With that said this thread is being locked. We ask that all Members use the Forums strictly for getting to know those that post within the forums.
