Makes no since perhaps so they don't take it as an (insult), a precursor of saying something like, "honey, don't take this the wrong way"...would make more (sense).? |

The truth always hurts and Americans more than most take everything as an insult. We live in a sue happy country full of people that like to think that their entitled to everything.
My biggest character flaw is that I have a habit of being too honest, which has always made me unpopular, and it's for this reason I gave up on ever finding someone. |

we live in a world where everything has become disposable.
we don't know how to value and appreciate people because we think we have to come first. instead of looking at shared feelings between 2 people, we ask a bunch of outsiders (people not part of the relationship) for advice and go by what they say rather than following our instincts |

Obviously, that person was not the right person to invest your heart, soul, and time in. It's sad and disappointing that someone would throw away everything you offered. But it seems the relationship was one-sided and you are probably better off without them.
