Maybe sorta. I mean if he hadn't had expensive lawyers or lost the civil case he would still have money and wouldn't have had to try and steal his memorabilia back. So...it's all kinda related karmically if not legally. I really hope the judge that sent him to Vegas prison wasn't all "that guy got away with murder way back then! I'mma gonna punish him now and make up for it no matter how this trial goes!" |

Do you think O.J. Simpson is now paying for his crimes of murder indirectly? No, he's paying for the crimes he committed in Nevada. Murder wasn't one of those crimes. |

yeap... I think he is.. and I'm glad he is. He should have bolted from the country when he had the chance.. but he was to stupid to do so..
who knows... maybe a new " longest yard" movie will come out and O.J can get another shot at the spotlight |

Do you think O.J. Simpson is now paying for his crimes of murder indirectly? absolutely,,,the civil case didn't turn up much so , some plant appeals to his enormous ego, works him up about someone having his stuff, gets a couple guys to come with guns and go to the hotel room where it is,,,,, depend upon Simpsons ego to do something stupid like tell someone to sit down,,, and voila,, ARMED kidnapping/ attempted robbery I can hardly feel sorry because I feel he was so foolish and should have seen that set up a mile away,,, but c'est la vie,,, |

When you play the game eventually you get played yourself. He got away with murder that should have been good enough but his ego put him in a place he should not have been in.Life has a way of making things even.He could have just got a divorce like everyone else and stayed a announcer and a actor and made millions of dollars but instead he chose a path to prison, his choice, he has no one to blame but himself.

In which Goldman's family was relentless in collection( rightfully so),with the intent of financially ruining him., which they did. to the point of his personal property being auctioned away to settle the civil judgment. |

Do you think O.J. Simpson is now paying for his crimes of murder indirectly? No, he's paying for the crimes he committed in Nevada. Murder wasn't one of those crimes. People in similar situations are out in four years tops. The guy who was stealing liquor and pulled a knife on me and actually slashed me was out in 15 months, and he had a 4 page rap sheet! She slammed him for his prior acts. |

She slammed him for his prior acts. She most likely slammed him, for his smugness, arrogance, and overall demeanor in her court room. There are, after all, people serving harsher sentences for lesser crimes than Orenthal James Simpson was convicted of. Sad thing is, as you pointed out, some who commit violent crimes repeatedly, walk with relatively light sentences. |

Was a Buffalo Bills fan when O.J. was 'The Juice' and his o-line was known as 'The Electric Company', so as a fan of O.J. I had hoped he was innocent in the murders.
The jury found him not guilty as opposed to innocent, and the state had botched it's way through what many thought was a slam dunk case. The Goldman family civil suit in the eyes of many was a 'double jeopardy' situation. The criminal case fizzled, but a civil case had a lower evidence threshold. The family gets all of O.J.'s money and property except for his NFL pension, and all future earnings until he pays off the judgement. The Vegas case? Some people say there was exculpatory evidence that didn't get to court. The case really revolves around does O.J. saying "Hey you guys, bring some guns cause I'm takin' my stolen stuff back." He should have called the cops, and let them handle it. Instead, he's a guest of the state for a long time. |
